Meet Carson Hohe, LICSW
Practice Owner and Mental Health Therapist
If you’re looking for a relaxed space to share your struggles, learn new skills for managing stressors, and move towards what matters most…
You’re in the right place.
I’m here to help
A lot of people I work with feel anxious, unhappy or just feel stuck. I work with all kinds of clients; whether you’re feeling stressed at work, want to improve how you communicate with others, or just wanting to feel more energized and satisfied in your daily life. We’ll work together to figure out what you want more of in your life and explore what might be holding you back. My therapy style is interactive, playful, and goal-oriented. I've been working in the mental health field for over 10 years doing individual and group therapy in a variety of settings including higher levels of care, school, and private practice.
I specialize in treating anxiety of all kinds, including general stress, work burnout, parenting stress, and social anxiety. I also work with ADHD, trauma, family conflict, and disordered eating. My therapy approach utilizes evidence-based modalities where you can share your struggles, learn new skills, and move towards your values and what matters most.
Therapy gives you a space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and learn tools that actually help in your day-to-day life. Therapy with me is a warm, practical, collaborative space with a touch of humor. Whether you're seeking relief from anxiety or more confidence in your choices, we’ll work together toward a life that feels meaningful.
My style
Therapy with me is a warm, practical, collaborative space where you don’t have to hold everything together.
My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure Therapy. Together, these evidence-based methods help you break anxious patterns, change unhelpful thoughts, and gradually face the situations that keep you stuck.
“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.” -Brene Brown
